While there are many rules in life, the traffic light feels like one of minimal significance. Perhaps viewed as a test of societal obedience or a site for patience and safety. While living in Germany and noticing the locals persistent awareness of the red stop light, I found it hard to obey as they do. I found myself wanting to jaywalk as I would in Canada. This series of photographs is an examination of taking time.
